The Red Sox finished the 4 game series with the Toronto Blue Jays with a nice win, 8-2, with four home runs, two from Youkilis, one from Pedroia and another from Jason Bay. A great feat, but the one thing I'm not too happy about is moving Jacoby Ellsbury into the eight batting position.
It's not like Jacoby was doing horrible, yah, he hasn't scored in the last 3 games, but he hasn't done horrible batting first.
The new lineup for the Red Sox is:
Pedroia
Drew
Youkilis
Bay
Lowell
Ortiz
Varitek
Ellsbury
Green
I understand moving up Bay, but I think Jacoby doesn't deserve to move all the way down to number 8!
Let's hope when they open the series at Detroit Tuesday, Jacoby is back on top.
Congrats on your win today Red Sox!
